Every time we pack up to get on another airplane, we do the tally. We are now officially traveling around with approximately 30lbs of TOYS!
There is the train set, the pool toys, the beach toys. The bedtime books, the colouring books, tracing trails books, tracing letters books, the play dough....
In an effort to stay within our weight limit and still keep Hudson from going insane, have swapped books and toys here and there, bought some new ones, lost a couple... and improvised some.
A couple of days ago, Hudson raided the mini bar and made "trees" to go with his train set. That Pringles can under that chairs in the background - that's a tunnel! We've also used toilet paper to make runways for his airplanes,
I am pretty sure this puts Karl and me in the running for parents of the year .... no?
Cheers,
M

I bet that just for sake of light weight of his toys before you pack again, his trees will be hollowed ;-). It is important to stay light, no ;-) ?
You are definitely in the running for parents of the year. Hudson's got a really refined taste based on his selection of "trees."
If "I'll have one of whatever is in your mini bar" is your idea of refined.... well then yes, he does :)
